Between beautiful, unforgettable moments, they balance press safety, embracing the challenge of both the exciting and demanding aspects of their work.

Synopsis
"Press photographer grabbed by the throat and camera stolen in Bunschoten," "Press photographer robbed while documenting explosion in Utrecht," "Press photographer assaulted and chased in Woerden." Three headlines that show the downsides of being a press photographer. Blaring sirens, screaming people, or a very intimate moment where candles are lit for a victim – these are just examples of situations you can encounter as a news photographer. In "Behind the Lens," we step directly into the world of three news photographers from the province of Utrecht, documenting the challenging situations of their work. We follow three press photographers through everything they encounter while shooting news photos.
